I should mention that I'm the one in the family who is extremely lactose-intolerant. My kids aren't and my hubby is only slightly. Most of my meals are dairy free except for the pizza and burritos (see my mods below).

I always hated that feeling around 4 p.m. when I just didn't know what to cook for dinner and I didn't have enough supplies to put together a full meal. A few years ago I started weekly menu planning and a weekly visit to the grocery store. I've been doing it ever since. I'd also like to add some "family" recipes with a view to printing this blog one day.
